This project is very dear to my heart. It helped me connect with my heritage and motivated my curiosity to create my artworks through personal and cultural experiences. It also helped me discover the beauty of Egyptian art and experiment with colours and materials.

Frida Khalo's artwork influenced the production of my artworks in which she placed herself as the focal subject of her paintings with elements from her culture and personal experiences. Colour has also been an essential element that has shaped Egyptian Art since Ancient Egypt that played a role in my artworks.
